Janet Granger is a business and marketing strategist, author, and speaker. With over 25 years of marketing and strategy experience, Janet leads a marketing consultant agency and works with a variety of clients in the marine and other industries. Her focus is on data measurement and marketing results based on sales, and her experience ranges from direct marketing to digital marketing, including both B2C and B2B.
Prior to starting her agency (2016), Janet led the global SMB strategy for the mailing division of Pitney Bowes. While there she spearheaded a variety of strategic initiatives, aligning the SMB marketing strategy towards digital marketing by 2012.
Janet had a product development consulting practice, working as the Dir. of Licensing at Save the Children and creating programs for other small businesses. Janet’s focus on product development begam at MBI (the Danbury Mint) where she initiated a new brand licensing approach, signing contracts with John Deere, Budweiser, Pillsbury, Campbell’s Soup, and others, for use of their trademarks and images, driving significant sales in new product lines and categories.
Janet learned how to analyze market data and create custom research at Nielsen Media Research, where she started as an analyst and marketing manager. She has an MBA in Marketing and Management from Columbia University and a BA in English and History from Amherst College.
Janet published Digital Influence for Baby Boomers: Why you should care and yes, you can do this! in 2016 and OK Boomer! Revelations of a Baby Boomer Working with Millennials in 2020. Janet is Chair of the Branding Council for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and also serves on the Board of Directors.
